Birthday...

I was going through some old stuff. Drawings I once made.
This I made when I was 16. Not a very good drawing but just a feeling...

My mother was admitted in a psychiatric hospital and my sister and I went there to visit her.
When we walked through the hospital corridor, one of the doors was a little open. I saw a woman sitting at a table. Sad. Lonely.

I asked the nurse about it. She said: it is her birthday, and we liked to decorate the place a bit...

So sad...
